Post-Surgery care
Post surgery care is equally important for MAS as it is for open surgery, and we leave no stones unturned for the same.
The patient is shifted to the recovery room immediately after the surgery. Depending on recovery there, the patient is brought back to her/his own room - in most cases within a couple of hours.
The doctor keeps regular checks on the post-surgery patients. Patients are normally permitted to start on sips of oral fluids within 4-6hrs of surgery.
Most of the patients are discharged within 24 hours, depending on their recovery and nature of surgery. As a part of discharge process, the patient and their family is explained about the aliment and the surgery procedure with the help of patient's surgery video/photo.
